If this month ended today, we would remember January 2014 as a topsy-turvy one. As it stands, we’re not even halfway through, and the ups and downs continue.
After obscenely cold temperatures a week ago, temps rebounded with a vengeance this weekend – and as a result – we saw over an inch of rain, not snow on Saturday. Temps remain mild headed into the workweek, but that won’t last. We’ll start Monday with highs in the upper 40s, a full 10 degrees above normal. Sunshine gives way to clouds late in the day.
A pair of fronts Tuesday and Wednesday arrive , bringing more rain, and possibly some snow at the end. This one-two punch will cool things down toward the end of the week, and temps will once again be below normal in time for next weekend … which means the topsy-turvy weather continues well into January.
