WATERBURY — A 44-year-old woman found dead in her apartment at 448 Tudor Street on Tuesday morning was the victim of a homicide, police said.
Autopsy results determined on Thursday that Kacy Austin was strangled, said Acting Deputy Chief Christopher Corbett.
Austin’s 17-year-old son found her dead in her bedroom Tuesday around 11 a.m. and called 911.
No arrests have been made, but investigators collected a “great deal” of evidence at the scene and are pursuing several leads, Corbett said.
