Every week, lawyers from the Haymond Law Firm join Fox CT’s Morning Extra to answer your legal questions. This week, attorney Kim Sudnick visited the program.

This week’s viewer question comes from Beth of West Hartford. She writes: “I fell on a sheet of ice on the sidewalk in front of someone’s house in West Hartford. I broke my ankle. I now have a plate and screws in my ankle to hold it together. Although it was snowing at the time, it was not the snow that caused me to fall; it was the ice on the sidewalk. I noticed a black plastic drainage pipe coming out of the grass just a foot away from the sidewalk. Can they do that? Do I call the town or the homeowner to complain? What recourse do I have? It happened in 2012, can I still do something about it.”

Attorneys from the Haymond Law Firm share their expertise with viewers as they submit their legal questions on a number of different topics every Tuesday on Fox CT’s Morning Extra. If you would like to know more about attorney John Haymond and his firm, go to
