Search Warrant Leads To Cash, Drugs In Hartford

HARTFORD — A 56-year-old convicted felon was arrested Friday after police found him in possession of 15 grams of cocaine and a revolver, police said.

A search warrant was executed on Friday afternoon at 34 Pembroke St., police said.

The target of the warrant, Michael Fairnot, was discovered inside the residence in possession of a Colt .38 special firearm and ammunition, police said. Officers also found approximately 15 grams of crack cocaine, drug packaging materials and $164,700 in cash inside the residence.

Fairnot was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics and operating a drug factory, police said.
