Sunday Weather: Snow Tonight, Coating To Two Inches For Most

Snow began Sunday evening and will continue overnight into early Monday morning, ending before dawn. A coating to an inch or two will blanket the area in time for the morning commute, meaning roads may be slippery.

Fair and quiet weather returns to the Northeast with sunshine and chilly temperatures Monday through Wednesday.  Highs will average in the 20s and low 30s, overnight lows in the single digits and teens.

Extended Forecast

Monday: Decreasing clouds, becoming mostly sunny. High temperatures in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.

Tuesday: Sunny but colder than recent days. High temperatures will remain in the middle 20s.

Wednesday: Lots of sunshine, increasing clouds late. High temperatures around the 30 degree mark.

Thursday: Cloudy with a chance of rain and snow late in the day. Highs in the 30s.

Friday: Chance of rain and snow. highs in the 30s.
