Saturday’s snowstorm, which began in the afternoon, was wrapping up by 10 p.m., with several inches of accumulation across Connecticut, the highest amounts in the eastern parts of the state.

Steady snow began falling across the state Saturday afternoon.

Forecast

Overnight: Becoming windy. Temperatures falling through the 20s. Partial clearing toward daybreak with temperatures dropping into the teens to near 20.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, blustery and cold. High temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.

Monday: Mostly sunny, clouds increasing late. High temperature in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.

Monday night: Chance of light snow. Lows in the 20s.

Tuesday: Snow ending in the morning, becoming partly sunny. High temperatures 35-40.

Wednesday: Mix of sun and clouds, milder. Highs in the lower 40s.
