Cooper Smelski and Jackson Morrow talk about a 5K race they have founded to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The two sophomores at Lewis S. Mills High School in Burlington hosted their first race on April 6, 2013 and raised more than $5,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project and $1,100 for their class.

The charity chosen has a personal connection for Cooper, as both of his grandfathers served in the military and his father served in the Army and his mother in the Navy.

The second annual Just Two Guys Charity 5K will be held on March 29 at Winding Trails in Farmington.
