VERNON — Police are asking the public for help as they seek the man they say robbed the Boost mobile phone store at 33-35 West Main St. in Rockville about 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the man walked into the store, implied that he had a weapon, and demanded money. The clerk handed over money and the man fled down a set of stairs on the side of the building. He was last seen near the Rockville Pharmacy.
He was described as a white man, possibly in his 30s, 5-feet-3 to 5-feet-5, with a goatee and glasses. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Vernon police are asking anyone who recognizes the man or who may have been in the area and saw something to call detectives at 860-872-9126 or the tip line at 860-872-9126, ext. 7301.
