Former MLB manager Bobby Valentine stops by to promote Bobby V’s Restaurant.

From Bobby V’s:

Bobby V’s Restaurant and Sports Bar is located at the Bradley Teletheater adjacent to the Bradley International Airport at 11 Schoephoester Road in Windsor Locks.

The state-of-the-art restaurant and sports bar is named after baseball great Bobby Valentine.  Valentine, a Stamford, Conn. native, is best known for his Major League Baseball career and currently serves as Athletic Director at Sacred Heart University. He’s also an experienced restaurateur and was a natural choice to operate this new concept in sports entertainment.

The stunning new sports bar and restaurant seats 300 and features 70 large screen TVs, a golf simulator, and private meeting room.  Guests will be able to focus on their favorite sport on a giant 17 ft. LED TV, one of the largest in New England. Connecticut-based architects Jones Byrne Margeotes Partners of Greenwich designed the restaurant and Van Horst General Contractors of East Hartford built the project using mostly area constructors.

Ted Taylor, Sportech’s Managing Director, said, “Working with Bobby on this flagship project in Windsor Locks has been a wonderful opportunity.  I’m thrilled we are now open to the public and just in time for the big game.”

Bobby V’s will be open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
