WEST HAVEN — Police have made a second arrest in a December home invasion.

Daniel Schebell was found in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, extradited to Connecticut and charged Monday with violation of probation, Sgt. David Tammaro said Tuesday. He was expected to be charged with home invasion later in the day.

Another person, Roderick Lewis, already had been charged with the crime.

About 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 17, two men — one with a semi-automatic pistol — came into a Myrtle Avenue home, police said. When officerrs arrived, they found residents holding down one of the men. The occupants were able to take his gun away and overpower him, police said.
