HARTFORD — The Capitol Avenue on-ramp to I-84 west will be closed overnight on Monday and Tuesday as part of construction for CTfastrak, the state Department of Transportation said.
The closures are planned for 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night to allow for pile-driving operations, which could be postponed in the event of bad weather, according to the DOT.
Drivers will be detoured to the I-84 entrance off Asylum Avenue, near Union Station.
The same Capitol Avenue on-ramp was closed for two nights last week for work related to the Hartford-to-New Britain busway. CTfastrak construction is scheduled to be finished in October, transportation officials have said.
