GLASTONBURY — A family was displaced after a fire Saturday damaged their home on 132 Mountain View Road, officials said.

Fire officials were notified of the fire by a witness who said they saw fire on the outside of the house by the chimney, officials said.

Officials said the fire had spread into the attic by the time they arrived on the scene. More than 30 firefigthers responded and it took 45 minutes to put the fire out, officials said.

Officials said that Glastonbury Fire Department had aid from Portland Fire Department and Marlborough Fire Department.

The town’s fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, officials said.
