Wheat Wants A Home

Gordon Willard of the Connecticut Humane Society brings us this week’s pet of the week: Wheat, the 2-month-old poodle/pit bull mix.

Wheat is part of a litter of unique puppies, with his sisters Buttercup and Sunflower. He would do well in any type of home as long as his exercise needs can be met.

Wheat is a fun and busy dog and would be interested in sharing his home with another dog. He will need early and consistent training so he can develop the skills to become the perfect family pet.

To adopt Wheat or another pet, visit www.cthumane.org.

A benefit for the Connecticut Humane Society, the Faux Fur Ball, is scheduled for April 4 at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. For more information on the fundraiser, visit www.fauxfurball.kintera.org.
