With highs in the 50s on Tuesday and rain on Wednesday, expect some significant snow melting over the next few days. But we aren’t escaping from winter weather just yet.
Today started off with temperatures in the 30s before mild air moved in and we see highs in the 50s under a mix of sun and clouds. Lows tonight drop to the 30s with the chance for some light drizzle and fog.
A storm will hit the state Wednesday, but at this point it looks mostly like a rain event. Rain will start in the afternoon and get heavier in the evening.
As temperatures drop Thursday morning there is the chance for the rain to change over to a quick burst of snow, coating the ground in time for the morning commute.
Thursday will be windy and cold, with highs in the 20s, and Friday will be another chilly day with highs in the 30s. It looks like we get back to the 40s for the weekend.
