Connecticut Wildlife Expert Has Popular Web Show

Scott Tucker, a Connecticut wildlife expert and host of “Expedition New England,” talks about his online show and some of the wildlife we have here in the state.

To date, Tucker has created 101 short documentaries about New England’s whales, seals, dolphins, rattlesnakes, snapping turtles, ants, eagles, hawks, vultures and even microscopic life. Each year he does a miniseries called “Escaping New England” focusing on wildlife in an exotic location and animal. This year’s focuses on the leatherback turtle of Puerto Rico.

Over the years Expedition New England has been awarded grants from the Long Island License plate fund, Rockfall Foundation, Project Aware, FOCUS, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven as well as the Fish and Wildlife Service.
