Naugatuck House Fire Leaves Residents Homeless

A house fire at in Naugatuck Sunday evening caused no injuries but caused major damage to the house at 49 Beecher St., the town’s fire chief said.

The fire department was alerted at 6:45 p.m., and the fire was mostly under control within 30 minutes. No one was home at the time.

Crews from Waterbury , Beacon and Bethany assisted the Naugatuck firefighters.
