A recent survey shows less than 50% of those who participated take a lunch break for more than 30 minutes.

Call it “dine and dash” – a new OfficeTeam survey shows nearly half (48 percent) of workers said their lunch breaks typically last only 30 minutes or less. Many workers also spend their time multi-tasking while they eat. More than four in 10 (42 percent) reported that, aside from eating, they spend this time socializing with colleagues, while 29 percent admitted they do work during lunch breaks.
