After a wintry end to March, April starts off feeling like spring. Tuesday will feature sunshine and high temps in the 50s. The timing and placement of a cold front will determine how mild we get on Wednesday. If the front clears the area early, temperatures will soar up near 60 degrees. But if clouds linger through the afternoon, temperatures could get stuck about 10 degrees cooler. The next best chance for rain is late Thursday and again Friday night into Saturday morning.
As for March, temperatures for the month ran 6.5 degrees below average. This will end up being the fifth or sixth coldest March on record since 1905 (it’s a close call).
