Suspect In Domestic Clash Found After Manhunt

LEBANON — A man who was the subject of a massive manhunt that spanned two days was found in Willimantic Wednesday afternoon after a search that include a SWAT team and a helicopter.

The man was found shortly before 12:50 p.m. in the area of 67 Pine St.

He was wanted in connection with a domestic disturbance in a Lebanon home late Tuesday afternoon, state police said. No one was injured in the incident, they said.


Troopers called for the state police helicopter, but couldn’t find the man Tuesday. They stopped the manhunt but continued searching Wednesday.


On Wednesday, state troopers — some heavily armed — searched woods near the Lebanon-Windham line while other troopers searched from the air by helicopter.


They spotted the man shortly before 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.
