Car Strikes Building In West Hartford

A car struck a building in West Hartford before noon on Sunday. (Nicholas Rondinone, The Hartford Courant / April 6, 2014)

WEST HARTFORD — A car struck a building on Albany Avenue Sunday morning before noon.

Police said the driver was attempting to park when they hit the Dry Kleaning by McKleans store front at 2477 Albany Avenue. Damage was done to the front of the building.

A sign on the building said it was closed on Sunday. Police said the property is owned by Udolf properties.

No one was seriously injured, but the driver was taken to the hospital, police said.

The town’s building inspector was notified.
