HARTFORD — A 2-month-old child was critically injured Monday at a home at 798 Capitol Ave., police said. Police were called to the home at 1:13 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive baby.
The child suffered life-threateing injuries and was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for treatment, police said. The baby was in critical condition, said Deputy Chief Brian Foley.
Hartford police special investigation division detectives and major crimes division homicide detecetives are investigating, Foley said. Crime scene division detectives are also collecting evidence.
