After a phenomenal weekend – perfect for a parade for two winning UConn basketball teams – changes are afoot. A warm front early Monday brings in clouds and a spotty drizzle, but warm air remains in place, along with a strong south wind with gusts up to 30 mph. Late Monday into Tuesday, heavy rain comes in, along a cold front that will send temperatures plunging by midweek. We should be near 60 this time of year, yet we’ll swing the highs from near 70 Monday, to struggling to get to 50 Wednesday. That’s April for you.
