High pressure will dominate our weather this holiday weekend with sunshine and seasonable temperatures.   Saturday, a northwest wind increased as the high moved into the Northeast.  The wind will diminish overnight under clear skies, which will drop temperatures below freezing causing some areas of frost by Sunday morning.

High pressure will build off the New England Coast Sunday afternoon, inducing a sea breeze that will keep temperatures a few degrees cooler than inland areas.  A southwest wind will become prevalent Monday, thus transporting warmer air into our neck of the woods when temperatures may reach 70 degrees.  A cold front will cross the Northeast Tuesday night with a band of showers followed by clearing and cooler temperatures returning for the middle and end of the week.
