SOUTHINGTON — A climber was injured Sunday morning after falling at Ragged Mountain.

Fire officials estimate that the climber fell about 25 to 30 feet. The climber was flown by Life Star helicopter to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center for serious injuries that didn’t appear to be life-threatening, according to officials.

Officials said the call came in not long after 10:30 a.m. and firefighters were assisted by other climbers.

The climber was not from Connecticut, officials said.
