Armed Robbery In Watertown Under Investigation

WATERTOWN — An armed man wearing a mask robbed the Dunkin Donuts on Main Street on Wednesday night.

The robber entered the business around 9:26 p.m. and threatened an employee with a gun.

The suspect seemed familiar with the cash register system and took an undisclosed amount of money from the main register and from the register at the drive through, police said.

The suspect fled the area, possibly in a silver Volvo station wagon.

He is described a white male. He was between 5-feet 10-inches and 6-feet 2-inches. He weighed between 170 and 180 pounds.

He wore black clothes with a black, mesh mask over his face. He also wore a New York Yankees baseball hat that was black with a teal brim and logo.
