This rabbit was found on Autumn Drive by Foster Street and Orchard Hill School in South Windsor. Police are asking its owner to contact animal control officers at 860-648-6239.

SOUTH WINDSOR — The town’s animal control officer is looking for the owner of a domesticated rabbit found about noon Tuesday on Autumn Drive by Foster Street near Orchard Hill School.

Police described the rabbit as friendly and having a mane like a little lion.

The rabbit is at the regional animal shelter in South Windsor. For more information, contact the animal control officers at 860-648-6239.
