Agents are excited about the opening of the brand new Ritz Carlton Resort on Palm Beach. Also, Riu took over the Westin next door, closed it for renovations, and it’s opening in the Fall as “Riu Palace Antilla” It will be all inclusive and adults only.
Aruba now has a trolley on tracks that will bring passengers from cruise ships to the shopping areas. It is “hop on hop off” and is free to all who want to ride, not just cruise arrivals.
Agents say that prospects are likely Southwest will be offering flights to Aruba via a connection in Baltimore starting in August.
