TORRINGTON — Three high school students were arrested this week and charged in connection graffiti at Torrington High School found in late March.
Jacob Wellman, 18, of 154 Washington Ave, and Stephen E. Lamonte, 18, of 52 Chestnut Avenue, were arrested along with an unnamed 17-year-old. All three surrendered on Monday, police said.
Police said the three were students at the school.
Wellman was charged with hate crimes, third degree criminal mischief, breach of peace and loitering on school grounds. Lamonte was charged with loitering on school grounds, conspiracy to commit third degree criminal mischief and second degree breach of peace
