Weather looks pretty good today. Warmer than Saturday with highs in the mid 70s. Mostly sunny in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. They’ll be hit or miss, and some could be slightly severe.
Rain will move out in time for Memorial Day, when temperatures will reach the 80s across inland Connecticut and the 70s along the shoreline.
A cold front will drop south from eastern Canada with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, followed by cool high pressure by the middle of the week with temperatures averaging in the comfortable 70s with low humidity. Another front will affect the region on Friday with more showers and thunderstorms followed by cool dry weather and sunshine returning by next weekend.
