Bristol Central HS Evacuated After Bomb Threat

BRISTOL — Bristol Central High School has been evacuated and police are on scene after a bomb threat was discovered written on a desk, officials said.

According to updates posted to the school’s Twitter account by principal Peter Wininger, the threat stated that a bomb would go off on May 27 at 10:46 a.m.

Wininger said the school was promptly evacuated and all students are safe. The students have been released for the day.

Police said they are on scene at the school and are setting up a command post.
