Tuesday Weather: Warmer Than Usual, Chance For Thunderstorms

After temperatures Monday that into the upper 80s for inland areas, a backdoor cold front will swing through, bringing the threat of showers late in the afternoon or evening Tuesday, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms into early Wednesday as well.

High temperatures on Tuesday will still be warmer than usual, getting close to 80 for much of the state, but temps will struggle in the 60s for Wednesday, recovering a bit for the rest of the workweek.

Today: Partly cloudy, chance for more showers and thunderstorms.  High: 75-80.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, breezy cool and comfortable. High: low 70’s.

Thursday: Sunshine mixing with high clouds late in the day.  High: mid-upper 70’s.

Friday:  Mostly cloudy, chance for showers/thunderstorms.
