Back to work after the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, and we’re looking at a correction in the weather. After temperatures Monday that pushed into the upper 80s for inland areas, a backdoor cold front will swing through, bringing the threat of showers late in the afternoon or evening Tuesday, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms into early Wednesday as well.

High temperatures on Tuesday will still be warmer than usual, getting close to 80 for much of the state, but temps will struggle in the 60s for Wednesday, recovering a bit for the rest of the workweek.

Tonight: Scattered storms, temps in the high 50s or low 60s.

Tomorrow: Highs around 62, lows around 47.

Thursday: Highs near 70, lows in low 50s.

Friday: Highs reach 70, lows in mid 50s. Scattered rain.
