Woman Who Prompted Amber Alert Drops Fight Against Extradition, Police Say

BANGOR, Maine — The woman accused of taking her three boys from Vernon to Maine in violation of a custody agreement, prompting an Amber alert, has dropped her fight against extradition, Vernon police said.

On Friday, Jackie Ann Morris, 32, signed documents at the Penobscot County jail saying she will waive her right to fight the extradition process, Lt. William Meier said Wednesday.
