Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena New Haven boxer Jimmy Williams improved his pro record to 6-0-1 with his third KO of his career. And it didn’t take long with just over one minute left in the first round Williams knocked out his opponent Christain Lao with a big right hand punch. Williams captured the Connecticut Super Welterweight Boxing Title and gave all the credit to his trainers and said he wanted to win the fight for the memory of his mother.
Thanks to the quick end of his latest fight Williams is looking at possibly picking up his next fight this weekend in Rhode Island.
