BRANFORD — A Bridgeport man was killed early Tuesday morning when two motorcycles crashed on I-95, state police said.
Kirk Orlando Valentine, 37, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to state police.

The operator of the second motorcycle, Royce Burns Jr., 24, of West Haven, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Both men were wearing helmets at the time of the crash, state police said.
State police are investigating.
