High pressure moving across the Northeast will continue to bring dry, comfortable weather under mostly sunny skies through the weekend. Highs will average in the low 80s, lows in the comfortable 50s.
At this point there are no prolonged heat waves in sight as we continue into the second week of June. The jet stream pattern continues to show the northern branch controlling the weather across the Northeast with several days of seasonable warm temperatures and comfortable levels of humidity with cold fronts crossing the region every three or four days keeping the heat away.
