EAST LYME – State police are looking for a man after an armed robbery took place at The Whimsical Consignment Shop Saturday evening, police said.
The suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the store clerk, police said. The sto
re owner gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and walked out of the store, police said. The subject was later seen leaving the area on a motorcycle, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a bright blue hooded sweatshirt, shorts and a dark-colored bandanna over his face, police said.
State Police are asking anyone who was in the area and observed anything to call 860-848-6532. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
