What To Expect At Connecticut Beaches This Weekend

If the Connecticut beaches or state parks are in your Fourth of July weekend plans, before you load up the car with your books, umbrellas and the sand toys get on Twitter. The DEEP has several accounts which they update on parking and other conditions. There are 107 state parks in Connecticut and 32 state forests, but space is limited at many locations and if capacity is reached the state has to turn some folks away.

Driving up toward Hammonasset earlier this morning  we did see quite a lot of campers, the DEEP’s website also has a list of rules.
