Walker-Thomas was charged with risk of injury to a minor.

At the time, police identified three students at the Metropolitan Learning Center on Blue Hills Avenue who distributed “weed brownies” at the school on June 11.

Police found out about the brownies after responding to a medical call at the school for a 15-year-old boy who was hyperventilating and in a stupor.

The student told police he ate the marijuana-laced brownie at school and that another student had given it to him at school.

Police determined that 18-year-old boy brought the brownies to the school and sold them to other students. About eight students ate the brownies, police said. A 16-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy may have assisted the 18-year-old in distributing the brownies to fellow students, police said.

School officials cooperated with police and notified parents so that they could check their children and, if necessary, have them checked by a doctor.
