There were four burglaries in West Hartford over the last several days, one of which was a cat burglary.

One of the homeowners arrived home while the suspects were burglarizing his home. He chased them and was able to detain one suspect, while the other was picked up shortly after by two officers.

The arrest of the two suspects, Christopher Colby, 29 (left), and Roberto Colon, 43 (right), solved two of the four burglaries.

Both Colby and Colon are homeless, as is Colby’s girlfriend who was found nearby. It was determined that the girlfriend was not involved in the burglaries.
