Child Left Alone in Hot Car in North Haven

Another child under the age of 12 was left in a hot car unattended this afternoon.

A 7-year-old was left in a car in the Target parking lot on Universal Drive in North Haven for 20 minutes. The child’s mother is Elizabeth Ball. They live in Woodbridge.

Ball was charged with leaving a child under the age of 12 unattended in a motor vehicle. She is due in Meriden Superior Court court on July 17.

This is the second time this week that police responded to this specific Target parking lot for a child left in a car alone.
