The Hartford Courant has confirmed that the New London School Board is delaying the contract vote scheduled for Monday night. Terrence Carter had been hired by the board, but questions have come up on his claim of having a doctorate.
Tonight, New London school board will vote on whether or not to approve a contract for newly hired superintendent Terrance Carter.
Carter was hired to start August 1, but is now facing questions over the legitimacy of his education.
The board is meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. for a special session in the lecture hall of the Science & Technology Magnet High School at 490 Jefferson Ave.
