Two people were injured when a fire destroyed a house in Watertown Tuesday morning.

The home was located at 862 Park Rd.

Fire Chief Larry Black said three adults were home at the time of the fire when it started at 8:45 p.m. All three had to jump onto the front lawn from the roof over the front porch because fire blocked the stairs.

The fire started in the rear of the house and severely damaged the home. No firefighters were injured while fighting this fire.

The State Police Fire Marshal is assisting in the investigation of the fire. No cause has been determined at this time.
