The heat and humidity peaks today, with temperatures up around 90 inland today. After a spotty morning shower, most of the day will be dry and just downright hot. Late this afternoon and into this evening a cold front approaches from the northwest, and it’ll bring a thunderstorm chance into our area. Some of the storms could pack a punch across northern and western Connecticut.
Throughout the night we have the chance for more lingering showers, as it will be a mild and muggy night.
Thursday will bring morning showers, with some gradual clearing in the afternoon. The humidity will also drop during the day, with high temperatures noticeably cooler in the 80 degree range.
We then build in some gorgeous weather for Friday and into the weekend.
