Springfield Mass. Police charged a woman named Miracle Crimes with operating a vehicle without authority Wednesday morning.
Police said in a statement the incident happened around 2 a.m. when Officers Steven Vignault and Lawrence Mayo saw a Toyota Camry pulling out of a parking lot near 1380 Main St. in Springfield that they recognized as being reported stolen earlier.
Police identified the driver as Miracle Crimes, Crimes told police her sister had given her the keys and she did not steal the car.
Miracle Crimes, 28, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without authority and will be arraigned in Springfield District Court Wednesday.
