Charges against Stephen Levins, the youth hockey referee arrested in March were dismissed by the judge in the case according to Levins attorney Jim Bergenn.
Bergenn confirmed prosecutors would not be pursuing charges against the Rocky Hill man. The charges stemmed from an incident at the Champions Skating Center when parents objected to the treatment given to a player who Levins escorted to the bench.
The charges were dismissed by Judge David P. Gold, in the Middlesex Superior Court on June 30, 2014.
