Severe weather plagued parts of the state Sunday.

In Wolcott the National Weather Service reported an EF-0 tornado touched down at 12:50 p.m.

The NWS said the path began near the intersection of minor road and center street where a tree was uprooted.

On Kalko Drive several trees were downed by a tornado and a large tree fell on a trailer.

The NWS said the tornado lifted around Stagecoach Lane where a tree was uprooted and fell onto a home.

A viewer in Wolcott shot video that showed ominous storm clouds and some funnel action.

It appeared Wolcott High School received the brunt of the damage; batting cages were upended, fences, trash cans and a porta potty were tossed to the side.

According to the NWS the EF-0 is the weakest tornado on the scale with wind speeds of 65 to 85 mph.

There were no reported injuries.
