Guitars Stolen From Hamden Shop

UPDATE: Brett Harrison, 21, and Sean victory, 19, both of Cheshire, were arrested in connection to the theft of Brian’s Guitars in Hamden on July 28. Both were charged with burglary in the second degree and larceny in the first degree. Victory is due in court on Sept. 17 and Harrison will appear the following day.

Several guitars were stolen from Brian’s Guitars in Hamden this morning.

The Hamden Police Department responded to the store, located at 3000 Whitney Ave., at approximately 3 a.m. Monday morning due to a report that a burglar alarm was going off.

A press release from the department states that officers found the glass front door completely shattered, and several guitars that were valued at thousands of dollars were missing.

Surveillance cameras show that at least three individuals were involved in the burglary. The first suspect is described as a white male with red or brown hair who was wearing a mask; a second suspect is described as a black male who was wearing dark clothes and a mask; a third suspect is described as a white male with black or brown hair who was also wearing a mask.
