New Concussion Law Affects Student Athletes Heading Back to School

The start of school means the beginning of fall sports for many kids but, this year, education will also rule the field. "Connecticut has instituted a law that mandates training of coaches, parents and student athletes…what to do, what to look out for, in terms of head trauma and concussions," says Dr. Thomas Brown, medical director of Doctors Express Urgent Care in West Hartford.
