A 16-year-old girl is currently being treated for serious injuries after she was hit by a car in East Lyme Tuesday morning.
East Lyme Police responded to the accident in the area of Boston Post Road and Heritage Drive around 11:50 a.m.
The Flanders Fire Department also responded to the area and provided medical treatment to the teen. She was then transported to L&M hospital.
Police are still investigating this case and no one has been charged.
